Fauquier Cam

June 2011 Time Lapse

Rainy, rainy June. Parents have a new car. They put a tomato plant in view half way through the month, and the days start to get really long.

Music this month by Montreal band Arcade Fire. The song is The Suburbs off their 2010 album of the same name. Love the way this time lapse ends. Enjoy!

May 2011 Time Lapse

The latest time lapse from May. Start to see the first signs of summer with the lawn getting mowed and more and more sunshine. Also note my parents new vehicle, and the supports created for the grape vines.

Music this month from My Morning Jacket. The song is Master Plan from their album, It Still Moves.

April Time Lapse

Here is the latest time lapse for April. This month shows a change to spring. Grass beginning to get greener, the sun shinning a bit more, along with the occasional rain and snow storm. Keep an eye out for the phantom leaves!

Music this month is from the amazing local artist Kytami. She plays in a bunch of groups, most notably Deli2Dublin. This track is called Five on the Slide from her 2002 album Conflation. If you ever get the chance check her out. Enjoy!

March Time Lapse

Latest time lapse video for the month of March. A little snow early in the month, but then it all starts to melt away. The video features Radiohead’s 2001 song Pyramid Song. The band has been noted as saying this was one of the best songs they have ever written. Enjoy!

February Time Lapse

Checkout the latest time lapse for February. Lots of action this month. Sun and snow, wind and clouds, people, dogs and moving cars. All set to the Yeasayer song Red Cave. Enjoy!

January 2011 Time Lapse

July 2010 Time Lapse

Here is a time lapse video from July of 2010. The camera we were using at the time was starting to die, which is why near the end of the video you start to see purple frames, and off colours.

The music playing is a song by Canadian band Plants and Animals called Faerie Dance.

Snow Falling

Here is another time lapse video of snow falling throughout the day building up in front of the old camera (Winter 2009).
